"Art is the heART of TUAC!"
Dr. Keith B. Huckaby Grant Recipient
The Thomaston Upson Arts Council awarded the fourth annual Dr. Keith B. Huckaby Scholarship Grant to Meredith Olive. The scholarship, which totals $1,000 is awarded based on applicants’ prior work in the fine arts, as well as other extracurricular activities.
Applicants were also required to write an essay on how the arts have enriched their lives.
Following her upcoming graduation from Upson-Lee High School, Meredith will be attending Columbus State University this Fall to study Early Childhood Education.
